July 15th and 16th 2011
Information: This camp is for all athletes interested in the sport of pole vaulting, from 8th graders to high school seniors. Instruction will consist of safe and proper techniques and progressions of pole vaulting from beginner to advanced levels.
Needed: To participate in this camp each vaulter is required to have a USATF card. This is a one-year membership that will cover your insurance. To obtain this card go to www.usatf.com and under the products and services link choose the individual membership, fill out form and bring a copy of the receipt.
Cost: $100.00 per vaulter, limited to the first 20 paid entries.
-This fee includes 2 days of instruction, video analysis, lunch on Saturday and Bowling.

Housing/Travel: All travel and housing arrangements are the responsibility of the vaulter and family. There will be a host family option for up to 6 Vaulters, for out of town athletes, on a first come first serve basis.
Coaches: Ky Edwards and Roman Mariani.
*Coach Edwards is a coach at Pure Sky Vaulting Club in Las Vegas (www.pureskyvaulting.com) and is also the Head Track &Field coach at Sunrise Mt. High School in Las Vegas, NV. He has coached with and learned the sport of pole vaulting from the best high school, college and Olympic coaches in the US. He has coached numerous 14-foot vaulters, State qualifiers (in Texas and Nevada), and coached at vault camps in Texas, Arizona and Nevada.
*Coach Mariani has been the vault coach at White Pine High School for 8 years. He has coached 3 valuters to the Nevada 2A state championships, this includes 9 state qualifiers and 3 state champions.
